Combining the special structure of Beacon Loop Primer, XMAP-Seq is a one-step multiplex PCR that combines specific amplification and library amplification in a single PCR reaction procedure. It not only reduces the risk of contamination of multiplex PCR, but also greatly reduces the cost of the product. The overall experiment can be completed in 3 hours for XMAP one-step multiplex PCR from the previous 6 hours for library building, which can be done on the same day for library building and on the same day for seqencing needs.
