xCapSeq™ Human Mitochondrial Panel is a mitochondria-targeted sequencing solution from WisGen xCapSeq's platform. By targeted mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) and then performing high-throughput sequencing, the 16.5Kb mitochondrial genome can be completely detected. By investigating the mitochondria-associated characteristics of maternal inheritance, multi-copy, high heterogeneity and high mutation rate, we can reveal the pathogenic mechanism of mitochondrial DNA variation, including but not limited to degenerative diseases, metabolic disorders, hereditary diseases, and tumors.
